This Summer, in conjunction with the Rose Arts Festival, Slater Museum is launching the exhibition, Contemporary: Modern Art in Southeastern Connecticut. This show chronicles dozens of pieces within the museum’s permanent collection with a big focus on artwork created during the height of the Cold War. Major works by Bill McCloy, Alan Rosiene, Edward Giobbi, and many more will headline this eclectic and sublime show.
