COVID-19 Information

Per Governor Lamont, in-person schooling has been cancelled for this academic year. The NFA Continuity of Learning Plan will continue through the end of the school year. As this is an extremely fluid and unprecedented situation, updates will be provided on a regular basis. 

During this challenging time, we have implemented a Continuity of Learning Plan (CLP) which begins April 1. In addition, other interim learning opportunities and valuable resources can be found here.

Yes. FREE grab-and-go meals are available to all NFA students and may be picked up Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the picnic tables outside of the Tirrell Building. Meals, which may be picked up by students or parents, will include lunch and breakfast for the following day. On Friday of each week, pick up will also include breakfast and lunch for Saturday and Sunday. In addition, NFA students may also pick up meals at any of the locations located here. 

April vacation is scheduled to begin Friday, April 10, 2020. There are no current plans to alter that schedule.

No. Graduation is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2020. That will not change.

Field trips are being handled on a case-by-case basis. Some may be rescheduled, others may not. For specific questions, contact John Iovino, Director of Student Affairs, at 860-425-5510.

Our next session was scheduled to begin Saturday, March 21, 2020. That is cancelled. Our team is looking at scheduling an additional session and determining next steps for providing credit for a future program or a refund. All registered participants will be contacted.
