The Slater Memorial Museum is located at 108 Crescent Street in Norwich, CT.

Enter through the South (Main Entrance) on Crescent Street. Stop at the Visitor Check In-Station to be directed to visitor parking.

The South (Main) Entrance on Crescent Street is open during school hours (7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.).

When school is in session at Norwich Free Academy (late August through mid June), visitors to the Slater Memorial Museum should enter NFA’s campus through the South (Main Entrance) on Crescent Street.

Stop at the Visitor Check-In-Station to be directed to visitor parking by a member of NFA's Campus Safety staff.

All other times (eg: winter recess, spring break, summer), visitors may self-direct to any available space within or around the Tirrell parking circle.

Handicapped parking spaces are located along the south side of the Slater building.

Proceed to the Glass Atrium building on the north side of the Slater building for second floor entrance to museum via stairs or elevator.

Slater Museum has reinstalled all of its permanent exhibition galleries featuring new exhibitions and objects - typically, museums constantly spend time looking for ways to improve existing or introduce new exhibitions to keep the experience fresh and inviting to new visitors. Objects within our permanent collection are also rotated in and out to meet current exhibition goals. Any questions regarding exhibitions or the collections may be directed to the Museum Director.
